We made a big song and dance about our Sales and Marketing Manager Tom Williams taking part in this years’ Firewalk, courtesy of Acorns. Well last night was the night he braved the heat, and we’re delighted to say he did so admirably to raise funds in excess of £150 for the charity.

Red Nose Day is a light-hearted yet fantastic charitable event, conducted by Comic Relief every two years. Everyone is gearing up for a night of comedy and fundraising that will hit our TV screens tonight, with red noses set to be a common sight. But when did it all begin? And why are those funky red noses so significant?

Coinadrink have been partnering with Promise Dreams for four years now, committed to helping terminally ill children make their dreams a reality. Some of the conditions these children have are truly heart-breaking, and the charity just wants to give them and their families some joy and positivity in what is a very difficult time.
Rhyan and Rhys, aged eight and five, suffer with the awful condition of Cystic Fibrosis, meaning extensive hospital appointments, medication and physio rob the boys of the childhood they deserve. As if that wasn’t bad enough, each lad has their own additional life limiting condition…

Coinadrink are delighted to be working with Acorns as our chosen charity for 2016-17. This excellent organisation works closely with life limited and life threatened children of all ages, as well as supporting their families, to provide tailored nursing care including short breaks, emergency and end of life care.
With three hospices situated locally, each and every one is guaranteed to provide a calming, home from home atmosphere where fun and therapeutic activities are always at the top of the agenda. Acorns understands that the children in their care face more stress and worry than someone their age ever should, so they simply wish to give them something to smile about.

Every year, around November, we ask our customers to complete a Customer Care Survey and for every one we receive, a local charity benefits…
As a company, it’s always been our philosophy to take a regular, critical look at ourselves and our business. There’s no better way to do this than to ask the people who know us best – our customers – exactly what they think of us.

Following on the success story of last year’s event, our colleague Sarah Bentley and friends recently held their 2nd Annual Bentley Bash, some of our colleagues attended what again proved to be a huge success…please see full details below:
On Saturday June 25th, Chasetown FC, kindly donated the use of their marquee and facilities for the second annual Bentley Bash.

Here’s news of our latest promise in aid of our favourite local charity, Promise Dreams.
It’s a sponsored walk called Walk for Promise Dreams and it’s scheduled for Sunday, October 16th – so it you want to join us, there’s plenty of time to get fit!
You’ll need to be on your mettle though… Our starting point is Himley Hall and from there, we walk to Wombourne. From the Penn Road, we’ll see lots of Wolverhampton landmarks, and rest assured: there are a few pubs along the way and there’s even a MacDonalds if you need to eat something!
When we get to Wolverhampton, we walk towards Chapel Ash before we go past the Wolverhampton University Arts building, with its famous ‘fairy lights’. Next comes Stafford Road, with a wonderful view of Molineux. From there, it’s a gentle downhill stroll to Wolverhampton Racecourse. Read more
As many of our customers are aware, Coinadrink supports a charity called ‘Just Small Change.’ We have a simple formula: every time somebody buys a bottle of water from one of our bottled water coolers, we donate a percentage. So far we’ve raised £750.
It’s not much, is it? In fact, it’s just small change…
However, as anyone who’s ever collected coins in a jar will know, over time, that ‘small change’ can turn into a substantial sum of money and with that in mind, we thought you might be interested to find out how that money is being used. Read more
Last November, we invited customers to complete a Customer Care Survey. Here’s what we discovered…
It’s always been our philosophy as a company to take a regular, critical look at ourselves and our business and there’s no better way to do this than to ask the people who know us best – our customers – exactly what they think of us.
So, every year, we distribute a Customer Care Survey and for every completed survey we donate £5 to charity. (Last year, through our association with Promise Dreams, we were able to ‘make a promise and deliver a dream’ to a determined young lady called Olivia.
It’s great to be able to help out and the feedback we get from our customers via the survey is massively important to us.
