Charity work has always been an aspect that Coinadrink are particularly keen on, and we are proud to say that we are doing our bit for yet another good cause, Just Small Change.
The microfinance charity aims to support the growth of businesses in developing countries, offering many an escape route from poverty. They ensure that small scale loans are provided, as well as saving schemes and business training to ensure that poorer countries have a ray of hope in economic development.

It’s Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, where people across the UK hold a coffee morning and raise money for people living with cancer. In 2013, 154,000 people signed up, raising a record £20 million.
Whats it all about?
Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. And as treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. The money raised at the coffee mornings will help make sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they’re diagnosed, through treatment and beyond.
Coinadrink will be enjoying a coffee and a slice of cake, or two, to support this excellent charity!
Yet another superb charity. In total, around 30,000 newborn babies suffer with a genetic disorder and the majority of deaths under the age of 14 are due to genetic disorder. Because of this, it is immensely important that we do all we can to help make the lives of the suffering and their families as stress free as possible. This is exactly what Jeans for Genes Day attempts to do. By wearing Jeans in your workplace, you can make a donation and help make the lives of the children just that bit brighter.
Coinadrink are committed to helping this brilliant charity and all staff will be arriving to work on the 19th September dressed in Jeans. We understand the trauma that affected children and their families face and we are determined to help make a difference.
It’s only 5 weeks until Walk For Dreams 2014!
We hope your sponsorship raising is going well so far. To raise a few extra pennies, the Promise Dreams team have suggested you walk in fancy dress and ask people to sponsor a little bit more generously in recognition of your efforts?
Freya Felton will be completing the walk with her family on the day, and wanted to give you a little reminder of why your involvement in this walk is so important: Continue reading “Walk For Dreams – Only 5 weeks to go…….”
