You may have seen online and through our social media channels that Coinadrink Limited has been selected as a finalist in two Black Country Chamber Business Award categories: Service Business of the Year and Kindness in the Community.
The criteria for the awards takes into consideration how Black Country Businesses have gone over and above during the Covid-19 pandemic. For Coinadrink, our success demonstrates our commitment to both customer service and community. We are very proud of our nominations.
Around the same time as International Charity Day, we have just received the latest update from our friends at Just Small Change, a charity we have long supported.
Just Small Change works in some of the poorest parts of the world to help people escape poverty through small scale loans for business development. Not only does this help deliver a better life but does so in a way that also restores pride and purpose for the individuals and families. The following update from Coinadrink Limited is the first we have received post-Covid, so we’re happy to hear from the charity.
World Humanitarian Day is a global celebration of people helping people. The theme for 2021 is centred around the impact of climate change and how that is destroying homes, livelihoods and even lives, but the general idea is how we can come together in support of those who need it most.
Coinadrink Limited shares a similar ethos through our support of the Just Small Change charity. Just Small Change operates abroad in some of the poorest parts of the world. We have supported the organisation for some time now, so on World Humanitarian Day we just thought we’d remind you of our efforts and why we do it.
Coinadrink Limited is delighted to announce that we have recently signed up to the NHS Big Tea event on Monday 5th July 2021. The day will mark the NHS’ birthday and is a fitting way for the country to come together to show their gratitude for all the efforts of the doctors’ and nurses throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, Ian Hawkins’ family were told by doctors and nurses at The Walsall Manor Hospital to prepare for the worst. Ian was admitted into hospital after developing Covid-19 symptoms and experiencing breathing difficulties, and from there his health rapidly declined. Within 24 hours, he was placed on full ventilation.
Ian spent over two months in hospital having suffered from a multitude of serious conditions from pneumonia and sepsis to multiple organ failure and a secondary bacterial infection. He was an extremely sick man.
Remarkably, and with the help of the incredible Critical Care Rehabilitation Team at The Walsall Manor Hospital, Ian fought back to tell the tale today. Now, he wants to give something back to show his appreciation. Ian’s Walk will be taking place on Sunday 27th June, a 26 mile hike that will hopefully raise valuable funds for the department. And Coinadrink Limited are proud sponsors!
On February 2nd 1962, West Midlands vending machine company Coinadrink Limited was born.
And what a 59 years it has been. A healthy mix of both innovation and sticking to what we know means Coinadrink is today regarded as one of the most reputable vending machine companies in the country.
Here is what we have packed into a history that is now fast approaching six decades!
West Midlands vending supplier Coinadrink Limited has always recognised the importance of communities pulling together during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, as we battle to find way through this dreadful ordeal that has affected so many people and businesses.
Working with Hampers for Heroes, a non-profit organisation set up in the wake of Covid-19, we have once again showed our support to the wonderful NHS workers on the front line operating within the ICU departments, through the donation of refreshment supplies.
There is no getting around the fact that 2020 was a tough year. The Coronavirus pandemic threatened to take both lives and livelihoods right from the very the start and was cruelly successful in doing so much of the time.
But we have always said that the one shining light through such a terrible ordeal was the love and support shown by so many of us. With the support of our customers and staff, Coinadrink battled through the pandemic with the purpose of assisting our customers and community as much as we could. And along with so many others in the industry, we strived to ensure that vending would keep on progressing as it has always done during the years gone by.
Before 2021 gets started for Coinadrink Limited, the vending company, we want to take you back through 2020 and everything that it entailed for us.
