In 2020, Ian Hawkins’ family were told by doctors and nurses at The Walsall Manor Hospital to prepare for the worst. Ian was admitted into hospital after developing Covid-19 symptoms and experiencing breathing difficulties, and from there his health rapidly declined. Within 24 hours, he was placed on full ventilation.
Ian spent over two months in hospital having suffered from a multitude of serious conditions from pneumonia and sepsis to multiple organ failure and a secondary bacterial infection. He was an extremely sick man.
Remarkably, and with the help of the incredible Critical Care Rehabilitation Team at The Walsall Manor Hospital, Ian fought back to tell the tale today. Now, he wants to give something back to show his appreciation. Ian’s Walk will be taking place on Sunday 27th June, a 26 mile hike that will hopefully raise valuable funds for the department. And Coinadrink Limited are proud sponsors!
It’s a question that not many people outside the industry will know. Both a water cooler and a water dispenser will provide a great solution to keep your workforce hydrated and productive…but what exactly is the difference?

A statistic captured from the 2017 Leesman Index showed that 82% of people believe coffee and refreshment facilities are one of the most important aspects of the workplace. That’s true for the office, the garage or workshop, the showroom and many more.
But it’s no longer sufficient to merely offer a simple “facility”. The modern-day employee demands more. We have a deep understanding of what makes a great coffee, which means we expect it more often. Premium coffee is no longer reserved for just the coffee shop. Your workplace must adapt.
Coinadrink Limited takes a look at five great reasons why you should invest in a high-quality coffee experience at work.
Coffee culture in the workplace shows no signs of slowing down. More employees are demanding high-quality coffee throughout their day, something that has only progressed since Covid-19 forced coffee shops to either close or adapt.
Like almost all industries, the food-to-go sector was hit hard in 2020, with a huge 45.5% decline. But as the world slowly begins to recover, so will the food-to-go market. Experts predict this will increase by as much as 30%, thanks to more people heading back to the high-street and convenience stores.
This makes the Micro Market even more of an attractive proposition. This advanced refreshment solution has always prioritised “grab-and-go”, though with the added benefit of being from your workplace. This means your staff don’t have to head off site, even if they feel safe enough to do so.
