Coinadrink celebrates double win at the “Vendies” 2025!
The Vending International Awards 2025 delivered another unforgettable evening for the vending and unattended retail industry — and it was a night to remember for Coinadrink!
Held at the elegant Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Wednesday 4th June, the “Vendies” brought together the very best businesses and individuals across our sector. As the industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony, it was a celebration of excellence. And we were thrilled to be right at the heart of it.
This year, we were finalists in all six categories we entered, a huge achievement in itself. But to then walk away with two award wins and two high commendations was incredibly special for our team.
Winner: Best Large Operator
Winner: Excellence in Communication
Highly Commended: Best Family Business
Highly Commended: Best Vending Project (featuring our bespoke Smart Fridge facility)

These recognitions mean a great deal to us. They reflect the values that run through every part of our business, from the cutting-edge technology we invest in, to the high levels of service we deliver to our customers every day.
Winning Best Large Operator is a powerful endorsement of the dedication and professionalism of our entire team, while Excellence in Communication recognises our commitment to keeping customers informed, supported, and inspired.
Managing Director Tom Williams had this to say about our two major wins:
“Being named the Best Large Operator in the industry is a huge honour. It reflects the exceptional service we deliver and our growing role as a leader in the field. With this recognition comes the responsibility to continue setting high standards and driving innovation.
Meanwhile, the Excellence in Communication award recognises how effectively we engage with our stakeholders — from customers and prospects to the local community, charities, and our own team. It’s a competitive category, and winning it highlights our commitment to clear, impactful communication — something we pride ourselves on.“
We were also delighted to see our work on the Express Refreshments Smart Fridge recognised, and for Coinadrink’s proud legacy as a family business to be acknowledged once again.
“These commendations are significant achievements, especially given the strong competition. The Smart Fridge project, in particular, stood out among some truly impressive entries and projects. Even though we were not winners, we are very proud to have been commended so highly.
None of this would be possible without each and every one of our team members. These awards belong to all of us. They reflect the teamwork, integrity, and excellence everyone brings every day. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together.” finished Tom.
Tom who recently took on the role of Treasurer for the Automatic Vending Association, was joined on the night by Operations Manager Annette Ball and Credit Controller Dani Pereira. Together, they represented our company with pride.
The Vendies 2025 wasn’t just about awards. It was a night of connection, celebration, and a shared vision for the future of vending. With so many inspiring people and businesses in the room, it’s clear our industry continues to go from strength to strength.
To everyone who joined us, winners, finalists, judges, sponsors, and organisers — thank you for making it such a memorable occasion.
