We’re finalists in nine categories across two leading business awards!

We’re excited to share that Coinadrink Limited has been shortlisted as a finalist in nine award categories across two highly respected award platforms for 2025 — The Vendies and the Express & Star Business Awards.

This recognition is a real testament to our team’s passion, hard work, and continued drive to do things differently in the world of workplace refreshments.

Flying the flag for vending at the Vendies

The Vendies are the industry’s most prestigious awards, celebrating excellence in vending and unattended retail.

Every year, they spotlight businesses and individuals pushing boundaries in areas like customer service, innovation, and sustainability — and we’re proud to have a strong history of success at the event.

This year, we’re thrilled to be finalists in all six categories we entered:

• Best Large Operator
• Best Family Business
• Customer Service Award
• Best Vending Project (recognising the development of our Express Refreshments Smart Fridge)
• Excellence in Communication
• Woman of the Year — celebrating the contribution of our brilliant Operations Manager, Annette Ball

Having previously picked up titles including Best Overall Operator (2023) and Best Customer Service (2024), it’s an honour to once again be recognised for the work we’ve delivered over the past 12 months.

It’s also fantastic to see Annette’s dedication acknowledged with her Woman of the Year nomination — a well-deserved spotlight on someone who makes a huge impact day in, day out.

The Vendies 2025 final takes place on Wednesday 4th June at the stunning Grand Connaught Rooms in London, and we’re looking forward to being part of what’s always an inspiring industry event.

Celebrating regional excellence at the Express and Star Business Awards 

Back home in the West Midlands, the Express & Star Business Awards focus on highlighting corporate excellence across the region — and we’re proud to be one of the companies representing our community on this platform.

We’re finalists in three categories this year:

• Business of the Year
• Employee Wellness Excellence Award
• Growth and Innovation Award

Over the past few weeks, we’ve welcomed the judges and sponsors for each of these categories to our Walsall headquarters.

These visits gave us the opportunity to expand on our written entries and have open, face-to-face discussions about what makes our business stand out — from how we invest in our people’s development and wellbeing, to how we’re embracing innovation to move our industry forward.

Smart, sustainable and future-focussed

Innovation has always been at the heart of Coinadrink, and our recent award entries featured the work we’ve been doing through Express Refreshments — including our Smart Fridge and Micro Market services.

These unattended retail solutions are redefining how workplaces view refreshments, offering healthier, more flexible options that meet the needs of today’s hybrid workforce. It’s great to see these initiatives recognised on both a national and regional level.

Built on teamwork and trust

Much of what we do is handled in-house — from the systems we develop to the services we deliver. It’s a unique approach that gives us greater control, allows us to be more agile, and ultimately helps us deliver better results for our customers.

With over 60 years in the industry, we’ve always done things a little differently — and it’s that mindset that continues to push us forward.

To be shortlisted in nine competitive award categories is something we’re incredibly proud of. It reflects not just what we do, but how we do it — with integrity, innovation, and a whole lot of team spirit.

With both finals taking place in early June, we’re excited to see what happens next — but regardless of the outcome, it’s an achievement worth celebrating.
