Vending big success down in London at the Vendies Awards 2023!

Members of Team Coinadrink travelled back from The Vendies 2023 event in London last week with two prestigious awards and a further two commendations!

The annual award ceremony celebrates all that’s positive within the vending machine industry.

Operators, suppliers, and individuals were welcomed at the Da Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London this year to a very grand occasion that consisted of great food, great entertainment and lots of celebration!

Our Managing Director Tom Williams was accompanied by our Sales and Customer Care Manager Esther Ladbury and our Customer Support and Development Team Leader Julie Jones as representatives of Team Coinadrink.

Of the five categories that the business was nominated as finalists in, we were at least highly commended in four of them.

Arguably the award that we are most proud of was “Best Overall Operator”. We were highly commended in this category at last years’ awards ceremony so to go one better this time around is an excellent achievement for us.

The category explored how vending machine operators around the country drive excellence through quality, customer service and innovation. It meant a lot to us to collect this award.

We were also highly commended as “Best Regional Operator”.

Over to the individual awards, and members of our team also recorded similar levels of success.

Mike Powell, a respected employee of 20 years at Coinadrink, scooped “Best Service Engineer” for his professionalism towards customer service calls and his attention to detail that generates his impressive first-time fix rate.

Finally, Julie Jones was highly commended in the “Woman of the Year” category, which was new to the Vendies Awards this year. Esther Ladbury was also nominated here.

Both team members were recognised for their commitment to the vending industry by driving the high standards that we set as a respected operator. The pair work hard in line with our vision and values to help deliver an excellent service to our customer base.

All in all, then, it was a very successful event for the business. It was an honour to stand alongside other companies and individual personnel who are as passionate about the industry as we are.
