Customer Spotlight: National Veterinary Service

National Veterinary Services, based in Stoke-on-Trent, is the UK’s market leading supplier of veterinary wholesale products.

They have been a respected vending customer of Coinadrink Limited since 2013, when they were first introduced to us with one of our Flavia tabletop coffee machines.

Our business relationship has continued to grow, so far culminating in a grand Express Refreshments Micro Market install in August 2023.

In this “customer spotlight”, we got the thoughts of those at NVS to understand what first made them approach Coinadrink over 10 years ago now, right up to their current vending and Micro Market facilities with us.

1) What first attracted you to Coinadrink in 2013?

At the time, we were unhappy with the service, quality, and selection of goods that we were getting from our previous supplier and spoke to several vending operators during a tender process. 

Coinadrink offered us what we were looking for and we saw an immediate improvement, in both the quality of products and wider service that includes reliable replenishment and speedy response to service callouts. 

2) What impressed you enough to keep reaching out for our vending services in the future?

We have built excellent working relationships with the Coinadrink account managers over the last 10+ years – our requirements have always been listened to and fulfilled as best they can. 

We have also been supported by Coinadrink with several of our charity fundraisers, which is a nice touch that demonstrates their willingness to go above and beyond in the business relationship.

3) How does vending impact you and your teams’ working day?

It’s important that we are able to offer our staff with convenient and varied food/drink options, as part of ensuring we are a great place to work with an excellent company culture.

Our range of hot beverage machines provide our team with great-quality coffee and hot drinks whenever they want them, whilst the snacks and cold drinks vending machine we have also satisfies. They are valuable employee perks.

We have seen an improvement in employee wellbeing since having vending from Coinadrink.

4) So what made you consider a Micro Market from us?

With a large, busy workforce, it can be difficult to keep everyone happy when it comes to vending, because there are less options available in the machine.

The solution offered, the support, and the range of items available through the Micro Market helps us to keep the majority of staff content. More choice caters to more people, and tying the solution into a grand breakout area means staff can take time out either alone or with colleagues whenever they need to.

From first thing in the morning to the end of the working day, the Micro Market is always available to keep our team refreshed with a range of products. 

This removes the headache of having to sort breakfast and lunch.

5) To summarise, what are your thoughts towards your vending and Micro Market services?

The Micro Market has been a very popular addition to our staff service enhancements at our new facility. It looks great and really shines a positive light on our company culture in line with employee wellbeing and satisfaction.

All products are replenished automatically, meaning it’s a fully automated solution that works seamlessly in the background and keeps staff satisfied. 

Meanwhile, the vending continues to provide barista-style hot drinks in addition.
