Coinadrink Limited has long been a proud member of The Vending & Automated Retail Association (The AVA), the UK’s official trade body for the vending and automated retail industry.

 The AVA sets rigorous standards for quality, hygiene, and service – standards that Coinadrink not only meets but consistently strives to exceed.

Membership in the AVA, which we have held since 1967, represents more than compliance; it’s a visible mark of trust and professionalism. For Coinadrink, it’s also a reflection of a deep-rooted commitment to improving the industry and delivering value to customers.

In recent years, our Managing Director Tom Williams has played an active role on The AVA’s Environmental Committee, engaging in key discussions around Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Deposit Return Schemes (DRS), PFAS regulations, and other pressing sustainability topics.

This involvement has helped ensure that Coinadrink remains ahead of regulatory changes and environmental trends—benefitting both the business and our customers.

The company’s leadership in the industry was further recognised with Tom’s election to The AVA Board as an Operator Representative. This position enables direct collaboration with stakeholders across the supply chain, from equipment manufacturers to beverage brands, giving operators a strong and respected voice in industry decisions.

And more recently, he was appointed Treasurer of The AVA, a privileged role held for over three decades by his late father and our founder, Roger Williams. This appointment marks not only a continuation of a proud family legacy but also a renewed commitment to guiding the industry forward.
