Did you hear? The Vendies awards 2022 were a big success for team Coinadrink!

We’ve shared quite a bit about the recent Vendies 2022 awards on social media, but you can’t really blame us! Thursday 9^th June was a proud success for Coinadrink Limited the vending machine company, scooping two prestigious awards and being highly commended in a third category.

Let us take you through them and what it meant for us in all three.

“Outstanding Contribution to Vending” – Roger Williams.

This was a very emotional but proud moment for us here at Coinadrink, even more so for Roger’s son Tom who collected the award on his behalf.

As most of you will be aware, Roger passed away earlier this year, but his knowledge and experience of vending has formed a legacy that will be remembered within the industry forever.

The nominations for this award were submitted before Roger passed away and it was extremely moving to see some the most respected figures in the vending industry on their feet applauding as Tom went up to accept the award.

If that doesn’t convey just how well-respected Roger was and is, nothing will. The award is now back with us and has pride of place in our offices.

“Best Overall Operator” – Highly Commended.

We were up against some excellent vending machine operators all over the country here, so were delighted to be highly commended in what was a very tough category.

The criteria for this award required entrants to detail evidence of great customer service, which just so happens to be something we really pride ourselves on as a business. Some of our promises include the fastest service response time in the industry and reliable replenishment and maintenance led by data delivered via bespoke software.

It wasn’t just about our customers’, though. Judges also wanted to see how we prioritised our own staff through any initiatives, whilst also learning how we navigated the business through any recent challenges.

“Best Service Engineer” – Kieran Jones.

The Vendies 2022 also recognised individual talents within the industry. One of these categories was “Best Service Engineer”, to which we’re delighted to say one of our trusted field engineers Kieran Jones was a very deserving winner!

Here at Coinadrink Limited the vending machine company we pride ourselves on our service response time, which is the fastest in the industry at under 2 hours from when we first receive notice of the request. This is helped by our field service engineers such as Kieran, who are always out and ready to respond.

Kieran has always showed commitment, dedication and professionalism in the nine years he has been with us. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and at the time of submitting the award entry, over 90% of Kieran’s 313 service calls this year have been first time fixes.

In truth all of our service engineers could have been nominated for this award, but Kieran was a very deserving winner.
