Coinadrink’s hospital clothing vending machines are adapted from our commercial snack vending platform, reconfigured to store and dispense folded scrubs, tunics, trousers and other clinical garments. The process is simple for staff and straightforward for the estates or facilities team managing the system.
Individual account and fob setup
Every member of staff who requires access is set up with their own account on the system. They are issued an individual fob or card that is linked to their profile, which specifies their name, role, department and the items they are authorised to draw from the machine.
Controlled dispensing at the point of need
Staff approach the machine, present their fob to the reader and the machine dispenses the correct item for their account. The system can be configured to limit the number of items a staff member can draw within a given period, preventing over-use and ensuring stock is distributed fairly across shifts.
Real time transaction recording
Every interaction with the machine is recorded automatically. The log captures the machine number, date, time, employee reference and the specific item dispensed. This data is retrievable at any time and provides the audit trail required for infection control documentation and procurement reporting.
Stock monitoring and management
The system generates stock level data that allows your facilities team to monitor usage by item, by department and by individual. Low stock alerts can be configured so that restocking is triggered before a category runs out. This removes the manual stock checking burden and reduces the risk of a shift starting without adequate clothing available.
Flexible configuration for your facility
Coinadrink works with you and our specialist supplier to configure the machine to match your specific requirements. The categories of garments, the sizing range, the access permissions by staff group and the dispensing limits are all set up to reflect your operational policy before the machine goes live.
