Prior to Covid-19, the coffee shop was a much-loved environment. For many people, it served as a “third location”, alongside the home and the workplace. It was the perfect place to wind down and relax in a neutral location, where the culture would present a welcome sense of calmness.
It’s regrettable that the pandemic forced the closure and then the significant adaptation of the coffee shop. Even now, there are concerns that it may never go back to the way it was, with the “coffee-to-go” trend fast accelerating. This then raises a probing question.
Could the coffee shop experience be implemented into the workplace?
