It wouldn’t be the great British winter without a generous helping of snow and ice and it certainly hasn’t disappointed so far. And with even more forecast, getting to and from work is now a depressing chore. Such harsh conditions place even more emphasis on making your workplace a positive environment for your employees, as nobody wants to be heading out and about unless they really have to. Our hot drinks machines are perfect all year round, but extra special in the winter…
Are you STILL using the kettle?
We recently found a couple of statistics that probably answer this question better than we ever could. 75% of employees believe that having high quality coffee in the workplace proves that the employer cares about their wellbeing, whilst almost the same figure said they would recommend their office as a good place to work because of access to high quality coffee.
2019 is here and with that comes an exciting lineup of vending machines. The Krea Touch from Evoca is just one. Masterminded by the same company that developed the Karisma and Kalea coffee machines, the Krea tabletop hot drinks machine implements a contemporary design and advanced technology. Make 2019 the year you bring the taste of the coffee shop into your workplace…
We all hit that point in the day when our body and brain can seemingly do no more. Maybe it’s towards the end of the day, the mid way point or even at the start, but there will come a time when we need a little shove in order to work to the best of our ability. It’s usually when we reach for a cup of coffee from the vending machine.
How you design your workplace is more important than you think. It’s strongly believed that a workplace that puts employees first is key to improving both wellbeing and productivity. Employees require a better working environment to combat common, everyday issues such as stress and fatigue.
‘I’m a Celebrity’ is back on our screens this Sunday 18th November for series 18 and if you’re anything like us here in the office then it’s very big news! This years’ lineup is an enticing one to say the least, with the likes of Harry Redknapp, John Barrowman and Fleur East heading into the jungle. With maximum stress and limited food, brace yourselves for lots of excitement, lots of drama…and no coffee to see them through!
Have you ever wondered just how long you sit at your desk every day? The facts are somewhat startling. According to a workplace survey carried out by Fellows, 81% of UK office workers spend between four and nine hours a day just sitting at their desk, which equates to an incredible 67 sedentary days per person per year…
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that The Apprentice is back on our TV screens from tomorrow, Wednesday 3rdOctober.
Lord Sugar and co will again start the ball rolling to find his next apprentice, or two if last year is anything to go by, with the contestants competing in a series of business related challenges for the grand prize.
Whilst I quite enjoy certain aspects of autumn, there’s no denying that the cooler conditions aren’t well received by the majority of others. Admittedly, Storm Ali isn’t helping the cause, and a battering of wind and rain serves as an unwelcome reminder that the summer is very much over for another year. The dark mornings are depressing and I’ve already began to notice my colleagues at Coinadrink seek refuge in a hot drink before they start the day. And there’s a very good reason for that.
Well, the summer season certainly feels like a distant memory now, doesn’t it? After what seems like months and months of scorching temperatures and blue skies, the classic British conditions are back with a bang! I must admit I don’t mind autumn, what with the crisp air, bonfires and an exciting feel of Christmas that’s fast approaching. William Cullen Bryant once said that “Autumn is the year’s last, loveliest smile” and whilst many of us don’t share his enthusiasm, there is still lots to look forward to.
