Monday 10th through to Sunday 16th August is Afternoon Tea Week. These seven days celebrate a famous British tradition that travels back centuries! Whether you go out to enjoy afternoon tea or savour in it at home, it’s a great way to wind down and relax either alone or in a group. But how did afternoon tea originate and why is it so special to us Brits? Coinadrink Limited takes a look.
Right from the word ‘go’ in 1962, Coinadrink Limited has been located in the Black Country. Needless to say, then, we have the ‘Black Country blood’ running through our veins!
Our 58-year history has seen us build valuable working relationships through business networking events and exhibitions. And we are proud to call this region our home. Black Country Day has always fallen on the 14th July but its origins are intriguing to say the least. To begin with, let’s go back to basics and provide a few Black Country facts on Black Country Day 2o2o! Read more
Roger Williams is a local businessman who founded Coinadrink Limited in 1962. Over the years he has contributed massively to both the local industry and to the vending industry worldwide, whilst away from work he is a family man and a big Wolverhampton Wanderers fan!
As he today turns 80, a collection of friends, family, staff, colleagues and some very special guests came together from all over the world to wish Roger many happy returns on his birthday. The video below certainly captures just how respected and admired Roger is to everyone who knows him.
Today is National Tea Day, a day where we can all come together to celebrate our love of a great cup of tea! With over 100 million cups consumed up and down the country, tea is the Nations’ favourite beverage. But as we revisit the history of the popular hot drink, it’s rather interesting to know that tea didn’t begin in the UK at all.
After what seems like only 5 minutes since last year’s event, Black Friday has returned with a bang. Express Refreshments has welcomed this shopping phenomenon with open arms, but probably not in the way you’d expect. Black Friday doesn’t have to be all about sales and discounts. Just like last year, we are working closely with our Micro Market customers to support each of their chosen charities through product sales. Together, we will help make a difference to some fantastic organisations.

2019 begins and in the blink of an eye Easter arrives! It’s scary to think that mid-April means we’re one third into the year, but there’s no doubting that Easter is a special occasion that means something to almost everyone. There is, of course, the religious aspect of it which should never be ignored, but in more recent times the younger generation, in particular, marks the event with chocolate eggs and presents. And then there’s the bank holiday, which is always welcome… Read more
