Big news for white chocolate lovers! The delicious white Twix bar has made a permanent return and we’re delighted to say that we’ll be bringing it to a snack machine near you very shortly. After a successful limited-edition run of the bar in 2017, Mars decided to bring it back for good at the back end of the year and it will be available in both single and twin form, just like the original.
Despite the big push from the government, there is still not enough being done for effective recycling. Walkers (a popular product brand found in vending machines) is looking to change this, with the first ever Nationwide recycling scheme for crisp packets. It launched on Monday 10th December and will be advertised on Walkers crisp packets from January 2019.
This week is the 14thconsecutive National Chocolate Week and it’s hardly surprising it’s been going on for so long really, is it? As far as themed occasions go, celebrating our love of the chocolate bar has to be one of the easiest to do. For this week, I have decided to do a little research into some of the facts behind the Nation’s favourite treat. Granted, none of us will care too much when we’re stuffing our faces, but they’re nice to know anyway, right? And some of them are particularly interesting indeed…
Every employer craves a higher productivity level from their staff, but it doesn’t just happen by magic. Even maintaining a high level is just as tricky if your workplace is lacking in certain facilities, so it’s important to remember that a greater work-rate starts with the employer, not the employee. Make your workplace a positive environment that your staff are happy to work in, such as with the addition of refreshment solutions, and productivity may just take care of itself.
Sandwiches. Whether it’s for lunch, dinner or a just as a little snack, they’re incredibly popular all over the world. Over time the sandwich has even extended to further creations, such as baguettes, paninis and rolls, and the simple method of adding a filling between two slices of bread has been a satisfying treat for generations. The British sandwich has long been a revolution, but how exactly did it come about, and what exactly do we provide for our customers?
We were disappointed to hear that coffee cups have been receiving a somewhat bad reception recently. For those of you who don’t know, the problem stemmed from too many people throwing away coffee cups as opposed to disposing of them correctly, because there were only parts of the cup that could actually be recycled. This led to a proposed 25p ‘Latte Levy’ on each beverage to discourage their use. Coinadrink have always been keen to highlight that the vending industry does all it can for the environment, and we’re now set to debunk the myth that coffee cups are the devil thanks to reEco, the efficient new coffee cup.
