Our party night is coming round fast!
Christmas is coming round fast, which means so is our staff party night. When we come back to work in the New Year, there will only be four weeks before our big celebration on Saturday 27th January 2017. Its set be a great night where all our staff members and their families come together to celebrate the 55-year success of Coinadrink Limited. Such longevity has been just reward for hard work and a customer-centric approach, and we will be celebrating in a way that has always been familiar to us: through charity.
The fun-filled event will be hosted at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull. Alongside the celebrations will be an opportunity to donate to Acorns Children’s Hospice and Just Small Change, two terrific charities that we as a company have tied our name to for years. Acorns works with life-limited and life-threatened children and their families, providing care and support in what is a stressful and worrying time. Acorns provides its services in a warming, home-from-home atmosphere. Running parallel to their team of counsellors and medical professionals are the generous volunteers who organise enjoyable events and days out for the children and their families.
We are admirers of the great work Acorns do, and have been working closely with them for some time now. One of the ways we donate is through our customer-care surveys: £5 for each completed customer care survey that we receive. Customer service is a very important aspect for us at Coinadrink and the customer care surveys let us know what we’re doing well and where we need to improve. The fact that we can help a great organisation in the process is an added bonus.
Our charitable persona extends further than UK shores with Just Small Change. To Africa, to be precise. Well known as one of the poorest areas of the world, Just Small Change takes the fight to poverty by providing small scale loans to help women start and make a success of their own business. When they are in a stable position to do so, they then pay the loan back. Partnering with Just Small Change has seen us witness the rise in the fortunes of these women to the point where the can comfortably take care of themselves and their families.
We will donate to both charities through a prize draw which will be hosted on the party night. All money raised will go to the charity, just like it has in previous events or ideas that we have come up with. We also intend for the party night to be an evening where our staff can let their hair down and toast the success that they have helped the company achieve. Live entertainment will be organised, and there will be food and drinks available throughout the evening.
We’re looking forward to the event, and we’ll definitely keep you updated on how it all went!
