Coinadrink Limited will be taking part in the NHS Big Tea event on Monday 5th July.
Coinadrink Limited is delighted to announce that we have recently signed up to the NHS Big Tea event on Monday 5th July 2021. The day will mark the NHS’ birthday and is a fitting way for the country to come together to show their gratitude for all the efforts of the doctors’ and nurses throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
It’s time to brew a National thank you with the NHS Big Tea event.
Over the past 12 months our NHS have done a remarkable job. These ordinary individuals have transformed into remarkable characters from the moment they step into work every single morning.
It is believed that everyone will know someone who has been affected by Covid-19. Our NHS have gone above and beyond for our loved ones throughout this dreadful time. They have been there to inform us, support us, celebrate with us and at times, sadly, console us.
And they have done it all in the face of gruelling shifts that regularly consist of dawn till dusk.
The NHS Big Tea event is an unmissable opportunity to turn the tables and instead care for our doctors and nurses for a change. The NHS Big Tea event will champion our heroes and fundraise for the wellbeing and welfare of each selfless individual.
And it will be a birthday party like never before. The NHS Big Tea will be the largest tea party in the country, in similar fashion to the MacMillan Coffee Morning being the largest and most popular coffee morning.
Coinadrink will be hosting our Big Tea event in our company showroom. Our staff are invited to bake cakes and bring treats in to enjoy over a great British cuppa. We have now signed up to the event and have our fundraising pack on its way to us for the big day.
Another big thank you from Coinadrink to our wonderful NHS.
Community spirit is everything, especially during periods like what we’ve faced over the past 12 months.
Coinadrink has always recognised the value of our National Health Service. Right from the start of the pandemic we have been determined to show our appreciation and support with meaningful gestures.
We connected with the Well Wishers charity located within our Walsall Manor Hospital to understand how we could help our doctors and nurses. We found that they wanted a coffee machine as a bit of light relief during their break times and were only too happy to assist.
We donated a machine and plenty of supplies to the ICU and high dependency wards and repeated the gesture later in the year, such was the relief it provided to the staff. We also did the same to a hospital further afield, to the University Hospitals of Burton and Derby.
And more recently, we have proudly put our name to Ian’s Walk as the event sponsor, taking place on June 27th. Ian Hawkins was seriously ill with Covid-19 last year and is getting the community together for a 26-mile hike in order to raise funds for the Critical Care and Rehabilitation team at Walsall Manor.
