Coinadrink nominated as a finalist in TWO Black Country Chamber Business Awards!
You may have seen online and through our social media channels that Coinadrink Limited has been selected as a finalist in two Black Country Chamber Business Award categories: Service Business of the Year and Kindness in the Community.
The criteria for the awards takes into consideration how Black Country Businesses have gone over and above during the Covid-19 pandemic. For Coinadrink, our success demonstrates our commitment to both customer service and community. We are very proud of our nominations.
Black Country Chamber Business Awards 2021: Service Business of the Year.
This category required Black Country businesses to show how they have negotiated the pandemic to put their customers first.
Coinadrink believes that working together is the best way to get through troubled times. We have always prided ourselves on customer support and our hard-working team have been on hand to help our customers throughout these past 18 months or so.
We have managed to uphold our lead times on equipment and have been committed to delivering our industry leading response time to service calls. These are areas that a lot of other suppliers haven’t been able to deliver on. Our customer care team have still been checking in with customers as usual, too, which we know has been appreciated.
Of course, Covid-19 required a change in what makes great customer service. This category required proof of these changes, of which should benefit the customer. Early in the pandemic we started to offer free floor stickers to encourage social distancing when using our equipment. We also offered free machine relocations if required to promote further peace of mind.
At Coinadrink we always put our customers first and through regular communication we’re constantly aware of what is expected of us. We are up against strong competition for this award, though, so fingers crossed!
Kindness in the Community.
The Kindness in the Community category for the Black Country Chamber Business Awards 2021 was looking for businesses that went over and above for the people, businesses, and organisations around them.
The last 18 months has seen our world face a challenge that we may not have to face again for some time. It brought fear and unpredictability. As a Black Country business, we are proud of our roots and wanted to show support to our community as we came together to tackle Covid-19.
Everybody is aware of our much our wonderful NHS has been hit hard throughout the pandemic. Thanks to our connection with Well Wishers, a charity based within our local Walsall Manor Hospital, we were made aware of small but valuable gestures we could offer to make the lives of the staff in ICU a bit more bearable. As such, we donated a coffee machine and supplies on two separate occasions. We also repeated it to a hospital slightly further afield.
Deeper into the pandemic, and as the festive season approached, we got on board with Well Wishers’ Christmas wish list campaign. This saw local businesses donate toys and gifts to the children’s’ ward at the Manor, in substitute for the usual Santa visit that got cancelled. We also supported the Hampers for Heroes campaign.
Then, in June 2021, Coinadrink was the proud sponsor of “Ian’s Walk”. This was a 26-mile hike that showed again demonstrated gratitude and appreciation to the staff at the Walsall Manor Hospital. It was organised by a gentleman named Ian Hawkins, who literally owed his life to them when he became seriously ill with Covid-19 midway through 2020. The walk raised an incredible £8500 which went towards the hospital and helping other Covid survivors in their recovery.
Community work is a key part of our progressive Corporate Social Responsibility plan and it’s great to be acknowledged for our recent efforts.
