An update on our Sales Apprentice, Julie Jones.
You were first introduced to our Customer and Business Development Administrator Julie Jones on National Apprenticeship Week, over three months ago now. Julie was about to begin her Sales Apprenticeship course and she spoke to us about her thoughts going into it.
Those three months have whizzed by and Julie is well into her apprenticeship and the learning behind it. We caught up with her again as she details what she thinks about the course and how it has helped her in her role with Coinadrink Limited.
1. How are you finding your apprenticeship so far?
So far, I am enjoying the course. It is good to learn other aspects/processes of the business that are linked to our department that I would not normally be involved with.
2. What has been the most interesting area you have covered so far?
The most interesting area I feel I have covered so far, is learning how a prospect can perceive a company prior to doing business with them. The visions/values of what a business stands for can play an important role prior to any contact. In most cases working with like-minded businesses can assist in their decision making.
3. Have you managed to apply any of the learning to your role?
I feel my research skills are improving because of what I have learnt so far. It has highlighted certain areas to me that could assist in my current role that I would not have considered previously, which in turn is giving me the confidence to reach out more.
4. Have you continued to receive support and guidance from Coinadrink Limited?
Yes, my manager Tom has been very supportive, he is always happy to help or point me in the right direction whenever needed.

We’re really pleased with how Julie has taken to the course, which she studies alongside her colleagues Alistair Ward and Sam Wheeler.
Coinadrink Limited appreciates the hard work of our team and we remain committed to supporting their development at all stages of their professional career. It is just one of the reasons why we have recently retained the Investors in People Gold accreditation, no easy feat.
We can’t wait to see how Julie progresses with her course further following this update. Missed the update regarding our Digital Marketing Apprentice Alistair Ward yesterday? Catch up here!
