By doing so, we were able to design the user interface and have the capacity to add new functionality whenever we want to. It also meant we can rest easy knowing checkout in this unmanned facility is easy to navigate.
In the interest of safety and security, we made the terminal cashless. It accepts all major payment methods including card, contactless and mobile, but it’s the user experience prior to payment that makes our terminal so exciting.
Meticulously designed to be smart and simple, the terminal intertwines beautifully with the market card to bring up each users’ personal account. Here they can see remaining credit and past purchases, but that’s not all.
For products that aren’t scannable, such as hot drinks from the optional coffee machine in the market, the terminal makes it easy to select what you want and head straight to payment.
And in recent months, we have emphasised the benefit of using our own system by adding fresh new capabilities to enhance the user experience.
