A busy year of recruitment for Black Country vending operator Coinadrink Limited.
In what remains a very tough climate, Black Country vending operator Coinadrink Limited is pleased to share that we have recruited 18 new members of staff in 2022, with four more vacancies expected to be filled before the year end.
By sticking to the values that have always set us apart as a quality vending machine operator, we have been able to navigate the tricky “post-Covid” period and welcome new business across the West Midlands and beyond.
Welcoming new faces on board.
After reporting that we had climbed back to pre-Covid trading levels towards the end of 2021, we are extremely proud of the fact we have been able to go from strength to strength ever since.
A healthy mix of new business and existing customer upgrades presented a very busy period, a welcome “problem” in the current climate. By recruiting more staff, we are making sure our customers’ refreshment needs are being met.
Most of the new faces have joined us in our busy operations department. They are responsible for delivering our excellent customer service from the front line, replenishing and servicing vending equipment on a pro-active schedule.
Eleven new operators have been recruited in total. The other seven new starters are a mix of sales and marketing, logistics/purchasing, IT, and admin.
In many ways this is just reward for our commitment to provide quality vending and refreshment solutions, but we still remain grateful. Additional business that aids strong growth is something we will never take for granted.
Managing Director Tom Williams said: “We pride ourselves on the high-quality service we provide to our customers. This commitment has seen us expand our customer base extensively over the past 12 months, with many businesses trusting us to be their refreshment partner. To ensure our service levels remain of the highest standard, we have recruited new staff to cope with the demand. We envisage further new employment opportunities for four more people before the end of the year.”

We have recently had two staff members successfully complete a level 4 sales apprenticeship, with other employees still undertaking courses in a wide range of fields from marketing to IT.
Coinadrink is also respectful of the work/life balance, and we are open to flexible and hybrid working where applicable. Finally, we have always pledged to pay our staff “what we can afford” instead of “what we can get away with”, in addition to other benefits that have long been appreciated.
We like to think that this is why we record such a low turnover of staff, with our average length of service today standing at just under 13 years. Members of our team who have been with us for over 25 years attend our annual long service dinner awards.
