Coinadrink have partnered with Acorns as our chosen charity for the coming year, and we’re determined to play our part in helping this excellent cause. As highlighted in one of our previous blog posts, we recently donated £736.50 to the charity, but we don’t want the good work to stop there.
In one of the most exciting charitable events yet, Acorns are set to host a Firewalk on the 20th April 2017! For those of you who don’t know, a Firewalk is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot stones, or embers. While there are many methods in place to prevent burning, as well as a full briefing from professional Fire Walkers beforehand, it’s still a stern test of nerve and character for those taking part, and it’s certainly not an activity for the faint hearted!
So, step forward our very own Tom Williams! Tom has registered to take part in the Fire-Walking on behalf of the charity at the Black Country Museum and we’re all fully behind him here at Coinadrink. We’re hopeful of it being a very successful night with lots of money raised for life limited children and their families, but that can only be the case if people donate to the cause…
You can visit our Just Giving page now to contribute before the 20th April, and remember, every little helps!
